I just realized that I don't believe *anyone* from our cohousing group has posted on Tribe. Well, here we are.
The community:
We are building! We are lookng to create an urban, sustainable village in the city of Portland. We want to grow our lives together, grow up, grow old, and grow veggies. We are committed to sustainable living and good communication. We value good process, but don't obsess over it. I personally am often deeply impressed with this group of people, and look forward to living with them.
The stats:
We are currently 11 members, looking to grow to 22 households by October. Our total number of households will be between 27 and 31. Our location is in the Overlook neighborhood in North Portland (bought land October 2006). Walking distance to New Seasons grocery, a Max stop. An easy bike to Alberta and Mississippi. Great communting options.
