Shinzanji Zen Center is looking for members to join our Sangha.
Our group is renting a three bedroom house on Salt Spring Island on the West Coast of British Columbia. We are co-creating a Zen Meditation Centre there, where daily meditation and chanting will be offered and the occasional weekend workshop. We are looking for two, or more, very aware, responsible, clean, absolutely together, vegetarian/or semi-vegetarian, lovely house mates to share this house with who are also interested in Zen meditation and would like to participate in this Buddhist environment. Having a current spiritual practice is a requirement, and preference will be given to folks who support and understand the value of Sangha and all that implies from a Buddhist point of view. The house is located in beautiful Fulford Valley, Salt Spring Island, and sits on an 80 acre organic farm with garden space, orchard, woods, mountain and valley views. Two rooms still available - each room is $600/month + utilities.
