Portland Cohousing/Shared Living Opportunities

topic posted Sun, November 5, 2006 - 4:27 PM by  Angel
I wanted to note the the EPoCoHo group is actively
looking at some sites (apartment to condo conversion)
and is ready to move when the
best option is made clear.

Personally, I think we've found it, and am taking steps
to move into one of the proposed sites as a tenant. It would give
me the direct experience of the location, as well as inviting
people over to check it out whenever I feel like it.

That being said, I am also looking for one or more
housemates, as I will be renting a two or three bedroon unit
(inner SE, good public transport, near green space, hardwood floors, etc.)

If you are interested, please CONTACT ME OFF LIST and:
1)have a steady income/ability to pay your share
2)sincere interest in community/cohousing
3) communication skills and willingness to "work on it"
4)you are cat-free
5)you are progressive/ open-minded
6)you don't watch t.v. obsessively
7) you are your own version of a fabulous housemate, etc.etc..

Maybe you are
1)a single mom with a kid
2)a couple
3) one person (female/queer preferred, but not required).

P.S. Another housemate situation maybe available "offsite"
in the house I own but do not currently live in.
